I haven’t returned in a long time to blogging, but the Sixers have made it impossible to not write. They are going to put me in an early fucking grave.
It’s only June 9th, and I’m already being subjected to watching the vile Celtics likely taking home a championship, and our shitshow of a franchise waiting to see if an aging superstar who is past his prime will pick up his 46.7 million dollar player option. Then it will be about a late first round pick that we’ll probably trade anyway, and then it will be whether or not we can trade Tobias Harris for valuable role players. If we trade Maxey, I will legitimately have a conniption and die. Hopefully we discard Matisse, but at this point, his value is at an all time low.
What a depressing state of affairs.
God willing, the Warriors at least come back from 2-1 and win the championship, but at this point, I’m resigned to the Celtics winning. It would be fitting for our greatest rivals to win, while we toil in the second round forevermore. Life is pain in Philadelphia.
